Instructor, Community Recreation (East):
Module 2

Location: Eastern Campus, Cuyahoga Community College, Chagrin Falls, OH
Reports To: Community Recreation Coordinator
Employment Type: Part-Time Faculty (Non-Union)

Summary: Leads high-energy indoor cycling and virtual Spin/Cycling classes, promoting cardiovascular health, endurance, and motivation. Designs dynamic workouts tailored to various fitness levels, incorporating music, pacing, and performance tracking.

• Provides instruction to students and community members.
• Develops and presents the department with a curriculum that provides students with a full experience and is structured to accommodate all fitness levels.
• Sets up in preparation for and cleans up after each class.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma (or equivalent).
• Current certifications in one of the following:
  Schwinn, Spinning®, ISSA indoor Cycling, NETA, AFAA, ACE.
• Required CPR/First Aid certifications.
• Minimum of two years of demonstrated experience in community-based instruction.

• Associate’s degree in a related field.
• Demonstrated experience with community-based instruction.
• Professional presentation skills.

Working Conditions:

The work may be partially performed in an indoor environment with adequate lighting and ventilation, and may involve exposure to noise and weather conditions. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Compensation: Set Rate of Pay: $30.00/hour.
