# Technical Artist Full-time
Full-Remote
- All Characteristics##### Introduction##### Responsibilities
* Design, build, and own scalable art pipelines and production tooling used across the team.
* Develop robust automation systems for asset validation, optimization, and integration.
* Profile, debug, and resolve CPU/GPU performance bottlenecks utilising tools such Renderdoc and Pix.
* Collaborate closely with graphics programmers to improve rendering scalability and engine integration.
* Define and enforce technical standards for externally created content (vehicles, tracks, outsourcing partners).
* Build tooling and infrastructure that supports modding and community-generated content at scale.
* Create and optimize shaders and materials aligned with P standards and performance targets.
* Balance visual ambition with performance, maintainability, and long-term production efficiency.#####
Your profile
* Minimum 3 years of experience as a Technical Artist in AA or AAA game development.
* Proven track record of owning and shipping production tools or pipeline systems used by artists in a live AA/AAA environment.
* Strong programming foundation - Python and HLSL required; solid experience in C++ and/or Unreal Engine Visual Scripting is expected.
* Strong debugging and profiling skills with a structured, methodical approach to solving rendering and performance issues.
* Deep understanding of real-time rendering, shader development, and Physically Based Rendering (P ).
* Experience working within Unreal Engine and understanding engine-level constraints, including console performance considerations.
* Experience designing scalable workflows for content integration, including externally produced assets.
* Strong collaborative skills, high initiative, a can-do attitude, and a problem-solving mindset.
* Communicate clearly and thoughtfully in English, both written and spoken.

*** Experience enabling modding ecosystems or community-generated content pipelines.
* Experience with procedural content systems.
* Experience collaborating with outsourced studios in structured production environments.
* Genuine interest in sim racing, cars, or motor sport.##### What you can expect from us

We are growing our Tech Art team and are looking for a highly technical Technical Artist with a strong programming background - who builds scalable tools, improves production efficiency, and enables others to deliver world-class visual quality.
** Role Overview
** As a Technical Artist at RENNSPORT, you bridge art and engineering. You turn creative vision into optimized, scalable, and maintainable real-time solutions.
You operate with a strong problem solving mindset - building systems that significantly increase team output rather than focusing on asset production.
Working closely with the Tech Art Lead, artists, programmers, and external partners, you will own and evolve our art pipelines, ensure rendering performance, and help transform RENNSPORT into an efficient content integration platform.
