The Role
We are looking for two complementary skill sets in one dynamic role:
- Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems.
- Mid-Level Software Architect to support architecture design and guide development teams in implementing best practices.
You will work closely with a core team to modernize our B2B shop and web applications into a microservice-based architecture, while contributing hands‑on to backend development. The role consists of 70% Development work and 30% Software Architecture.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and applications
- Support transformation applications into microservice architecture
- Assist in defining and documenting application architecture in collaboration with senior architects
- Optimize and secure existing solutions (Azure Cloud). Knowledge of Kubernetes is an advantage.
- Collaborate on service strategies within the ALSO Group
- Participate in CI/CD implementation and quality assurance processes
- Provide problem‑solving support throughout the software lifecycle
- Building user interfaces in Vue.js or Angular.
- Strong hands‑on experience with C#/.NET Core and SQL
- Experience with frontend frameworks (Angular, Vue.js)
- Familiarity with Java Tech Stack (Spring Boot) is a plus
- Experience in SQL, API Gateway, Kafka Event Driven Architecture
- Skilled in reverse engineering and adapting existing service domains (Nice to have)
- Knowledge in Azure, Azure Dev Ops, and CI/CD processes
- Ability to assist in architectural documentation and enforce guidelines under supervision
- Knowledge in Kubernetes is an additional plus
