Android Engineer

Position: Android Engineer (all genders)
Location: Germany

* Several years of professional Android development experience with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, plus a deep understanding of state-of-the-art architecture patterns (e.g. MVVM, Clean Architecture).
* Routine use of automated tests (especially unit tests) and a strong focus on clean, maintainable code –  ideally already using AI tools such as Git Hub Copilot as part of your everyday workflow.
* Ability to explain complex technical topics in an audience-appropriate way – whether you are talking to engineers (all genders), product managers (all genders), or other stakeholders.
* Very good English skills (spoken and written).
* Experience with Pair Programming and working in cross-functional teams.
* Experience or strong interest in Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) and in modularising Android applications to improve scalability, build times, and team autonomy.
* Interest in augmenting your daily work with AI.
* Track record of driving technical improvements or innovations while keeping business value and long-term sustainability in mind.
* Good German language skills (e.g. B2 or above) are a plus for collaborating smoothly with stakeholders and teams across the company.
