About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ruby on Rails Developer with over 10 years of expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining complex web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving abilities, experience in leading development teams, and a deep understanding of scalable application architecture.
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of high-quality web applications using Ruby on Rails.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, Dev Ops, UI/UX) to deliver robust software solutions.
- Architect and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, perform code reviews, and enforce coding standards.
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and other external services.
- Stay updated with emerging trends, tools, and technologies in web development.
Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years of professional experience in Ruby on Rails development.
- Strong expertise in Ruby, Rails framework, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
- Solid understanding of MySQL/Postgre
SQL, Redis, and database optimization. - Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party integrations.
- React/Angular/Vue.js (preferred).
- Experience with Git/Git Hub, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment tools (Capistrano, Docker, Kubernetes is a bonus).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Knowledge of Microservices Architecture and Event-driven systems.
- Previous experience in leading large-scale enterprise projects.
