Overview

As a Senior Backend Engineer (Python) at Ambar Partners, you will design and deploy scalable systems, build event‑driven microservices, and help shape the future of legal work.

• Design, implement, and maintain high‑quality, scalable applications using Python, Django, FastAPI, and AWS.
• Develop and maintain event‑driven microservices, Celery workers, Redis, SQS, Step Functions, and async processes.
• Build and expose RESTful APIs, ensuring security, performance, and best practices.
• Design and optimize data layers in Postgre

  DB, Dynamo
  
  DB, and Elasticsearch to deliver fast, reliable results.
• Write automated unit and integration tests, perform code reviews, and maintain code quality standards.
• Collaborate with product, design, and infrastructure teams to deliver features quickly, iterating on feedback.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and proactively enhance scalability and reliability.

• +6 years of experience building production systems in Python/Django and Celery for async tasks.
• Hands‑on experience with FastAPI, RESTful APIs, and API integration via JSON.
• Proficiency with Docker, AWS, and event‑driven microservice architectures.
