Landfill Gas Technician

We are currently looking for a Landfill Gas Technician at our Fostoria, Ohio landfill.

The Landfill Gas Technician position will include, but are not limited to:

• Operate and monitor landfill gas extraction wells on the landfill’s GCCS
• Flare/Blower station operations and monitoring
• GCCS condensate management
• Surface emissions monitoring and reporting
• Explosive gas monitoring and reporting
• Landfill GCCS operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing
• Pneumatic pump maintenance including removal of pumps, inspection, preventative maintenance, and repair
• Operate site vehicles and equipment, including pickup trucks, and smaller equipment
• Non‑routine construction repairs or maintenance including HDPE pipe fusion
• Perform additional duties as assigned

• 10+ years experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to walk long distances
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Self‑starter with the ability to work independently
• Ability to work well with other technicians on a small crew or team
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Excellent communication skills
