Maintenance Electrician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team at a modern manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in an industrial environment. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of electrical systems, safety protocols, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of operations.

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand system layouts.
• Install, maintain, and repair high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems.
• Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards during all work performed.
• Safely and effectively utilize power tools and electrical testing equipment.
• Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Document all maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.

• Proven experience as a commercial or industrial electrician required.
• Strong knowledge of high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems.
• Familiarity with NEC regulations and electrical safety standards.
• Proficiency with electrical testing equipment, including voltmeters and ohmmeters.
• Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Experience with power tools and general industrial maintenance practices preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills.

• Day shift currently: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Schedule may transition to night shift when production begins
• Production schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 4 nights on / 4 nights off
