Job Overview

Barberton Mancan Temporary Staffing Employment Agency is partnering with a Uniontown Foundry company that is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician with strong electrical skills.

Maintenance Tech Level III – 1st shift, Mon‑Fri 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
Pay is BOE $21–$25/hr.

Install and maintain machinery and equipment for all aspects of foundry operation, in accordance with manufacturer's specifications and preventative maintenance guidelines and work orders established by the company. Perform facility maintenance repairs and upgrades as directed. Complete assigned work orders and document all completed maintenance assignments on proper form.

• Must possess a considerable set of tools for machinery and facility maintenance.
• Must have knowledge of the proper use and care of basic hand tools.
• Must be responsible for proper care and use of company‑provided shop specialty tools and equipment.
• Must provide and wear safety‑toed work boots at all times while performing maintenance tasks.
• Must comply with OSHA regulations concerning personal protective equipment, which include general maintenance safety practices for eye, ear, hand protection, and proper lifting. Adherence to these regulations is mandatory.
• Assist in the completion of maintenance work orders assigned to satisfy departmental requirements for daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually scheduled inspections and service of all company equipment.
• Perform routine and seasonal facility maintenance duties as required.
• Assist Maintenance staff as requested in the repair of facilities and equipment.
• Assist in janitorial duties as requested.
• Develop skills needed to fabricate as required using torch, MIG and stick welding.

Must be able to pass a drug test and background check. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
