Location: Galena
Do you have a sharp eye for detail and a solid understanding of commercial roofing systems?
Division 7 Roofing is looking for a dedicated Roof Assessment Technician to conduct detailed inspections and condition assessments of commercial and industrial roofing systems. This role is vital in helping clients make informed decisions about repairs, replacements, and ongoing maintenance-so if you're experienced in roofing, reliable, and passionate about accuracy, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Do:
* Perform roof condition assessments on commercial and industrial buildings.
* Inspect and document roofing systems including membrane, insulation, flashing, and drainage components.
* Capture detailed photos and notes to support findings.
* Prepare comprehensive assessment reports with repair or replacement recommendations.
* Use technology such as drones, infrared, and moisture scanning tools (if applicable).
* Coordinate site visits with building owners, facility managers, or project leads.
* Collaborate with estimators and project managers to support proposals and project planning.
* Ensure all inspections are performed with safety and professionalism in mind.
What We're Looking For:
* 3+ years of experience in commercial roofing or construction inspections.
* Strong understanding of various roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, Modified Bitumen, etc.).
* Ability to identify common roofing issues, defects, and maintenance needs.
* Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions.
* Strong communication, documentation, and report-writing skills.
* Tech-savvy: comfortable using phones, tablets, and inspection software.
* Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally to job sites.
