Utility Crew Foreman – Direct Hire

KCConsulting, LLC is currently seeking an experienced Utility Crew Foreman for a reputable construction company located just outside of Cincinnati. This is a hands‑on leadership role overseeing underground utility installation projects across the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area.

Position Overview

The Utility Crew Foreman will lead daily field operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, field experience in underground utilities, and the ability to operate and manage heavy equipment while coordinating crews on active job sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise utility crews on underground utility installation projects
  • Coordinate daily job site activities and workflow
  • Operate and oversee heavy equipment used in excavation and utility work
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
  • Read and interpret project drawings and plans
  • Perform basic preventive maintenance and equipment troubleshooting

    Communicate effectively with crew members, supervisors, and clients
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of underground utilities installation experience (preferred)
  • Proven supervisory and crew leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operation
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to commute to project sites
Preferred Certifications
  • OSHA 30
  • First Aid / CPR
Pre‑Employment Requirements
  • DOT physical
  • Drug screen upon offer
