Facilities Maintenance Technician

Maumee Valley Group is looking for a motivated individual to join our Maintenance Department in Florida, OH as a Facilities Maintenance Technician
. The Repair Technician is responsible for the technical maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of vending and micro market equipment to ensure optimal functionality and service reliability. This role requires a thorough understanding of electrical, plumbing and commitment to high-quality technical service. The technician will perform both preventative and corrective maintenance across a variety of vending machines, coffee machines, ice makers, coolers, and freezers, ensuring timely resolution of service issues and contributing to customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults in equipment.
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and calibrations to reduce equipment downtime.
• Replace worn or defective components including motors, coin mechanisms, compressors, and circuit boards.
• Install, test, and configure equipment to meet client specifications.
• Maintain a detailed maintenance log and ensure compliance with company repair and service standards.
• Collaborate with route and inventory teams to report recurring issues and suggest equipment upgrades or replacements as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical training in electrical or mechanical repair preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in repair or related technical field.
• Proficient in diagnosing and repairing electromechanical systems.
• Familiarity with refrigeration systems, payment systems, and electronic control panels.
• Strong technical troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Excellent organizational and record-keeping abilities.
• Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs and perform field service duties.

• Requires work in our Florida warehouse.

This person will have the ability to lift and move heavy items, work on different types of vending equipment and coolers at our various locations. Be able to follow verbal orders and troubleshoot. Knowledge of electrical & plumbing is a plus.

Hours:

8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

• Weekly Pay, EVERY Wednesday
• First of the month $40 Phone Stipend Reimbursement
