As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Responder in Canal Winchester, OH
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast‑paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help deter security‑related incidents. You will support access points, observe operations, document activity, and communicate clearly with team members and site contacts.

• Provide customer service to clients and facility personnel by following Allied Universal security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including reporting and documenting observations per site requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter routes, with working conditions varying by location and shift.
• Monitor access points for employees, visitors, and drivers, assisting with badge checks, visitor logs, and/or directing deliveries to the appropriate receiving areas.
• Observe shipping, receiving, and staging areas for suspicious activity or hazards and communicate concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
