Security Officer - Flex Visitor Screening

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location;
Control access at entry points by verifying identification, processing visitor and contractor check-ins, issuing temporary badges when directed, and maintaining access logs;
Screen and direct inbound and outbound drivers by confirming appointments and/or shipping documentation, coordinating with onsite personnel for dock and yard access, and reporting irregularities per site procedures;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with report documentation and notifying appropriate personnel;
Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, staging areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or policy violations, as working conditions may vary by location
