HIREING IMMEDIATELY. Sunstates Security is currently hiring Flex Security Officers for the Port Clinton, OH area to work on‑call/as needed. All shifts and days are available. Pay rate is $20.00/hr with weekly pay.

• Reliable transportation.
• One year of experience in security, military, or law enforcement is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Willingness and ability to work holidays, weekends, and in all weather conditions.
• Ability to regularly stand or walk for extended periods of time and distance.
• Exceptional report writing skills.
• Strong mental analysis, problem solving, and decision‑making under pressure.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong written communication skills and ability to understand written instruction.

The Flex Officer position is crucial to the company’s operational and financial success. Flex Officers provide trained, competent support by covering shifts that become open due to illness, call‑offs, weather, vacation, or other causes, ensuring continual, uninterrupted service to our customers and protecting personnel work balance.

• Training may occur at various posts or facilities based on operational need; assignments are not permanent.
• Schedules (shifts, days off, hours per week) vary with operational need.
• Shifts are assigned as they become available; some will be scheduled in advance and posted with the week’s schedule, while others may require short‑notice call‑in coverage.
• Availabilities that fall within described hours must be communicated if you cannot work.
• For short‑notice call‑ins, you are expected to work at least 80% of the requested shifts; refusal of more than 20% may negatively impact employment status.

High School diploma or equivalent.
