As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol Specialist in Luckey, OH
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a busy retail distribution location, you will conduct regular vehicle patrols to help deter security‑related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment. You will remain visible, engage with visitors and staff, and deliver excellent customer service. • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail distribution center and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, theft, or unusual occurrences within the location.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management as needed.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and documenting activities as required.
• Support site operations by following post orders and maintaining a visible presence to help deter unwanted behavior.

• At least one year of security‑related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
