• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, following site‑specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor and control access points, verifying credentials and assisting authorized personnel as needed.
• Remain alert and observant while on patrol, reporting any suspicious behavior or incidents to the appropriate authorities.
• Assist with emergency response activities, including evacuations or lockdowns, following established protocols.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities and incidents, maintaining clear communication with Allied Universal management and site representatives.
• Operate and maintain assigned equipment, including radios and firearms, in compliance with company policies and local regulations.
• Participate in ongoing training and drills to remain prepared for a variety of security-related situations specific to utility locations.

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all applicable laws.
• Allowed to consider qualified applications with criminal histories in accordance with law.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may be subject to state or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.
