Job Overview
The Seller Agent (also serving as a Licensed Account Representative) is the trusted guide and financial advocate for home sellers. This role combines consultative sales, relationship management, and contract execution to help clients confidently sell and purchase homes while building long-term community partnerships. The Seller Agent acts as a professional advisor/guide from the first contact through closing.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Seller Representation & Sales

  • Consult with sellers to understand goals, lifestyle needs, and financial readiness.
  • Show homes, host open houses, and actively sell team listings to qualified buyers.

Account Executive Functions

  • Proactively make outbound calls on listings and to surrounding neighbors to generate buyer interest.
  • Make outgoing prospecting calls to potential customers who have engaged with our web platform.
  • Call leads from the previous day that may not have been answered.
  • Keep an accurate record and current contact with all leads.
  • Verify financial requirements for all bidders and introduce buyers to approved lenders.
  • Guide clients through budgeting conversations and act as a financial‑planning resource in collaboration with lending partners.
  • Maintain strong follow‑up systems to convert leads into closed transactions.

Offer & Contract Management

  • Prepare and submit buyer offers.
  • Communicate clearly with listing agents and sellers.
  • Support buyers through inspections, appraisals, and contract milestones.
  • Ensure buyers understand terms, timelines, and next steps.

Relationship Development & Community Networking

  • Build professional relationships with builders, bankers, financial planners, mortgage brokers, attorneys, etc.
  • Establish business‑to‑business partnerships within the community.
  • Create and nurture a referral network that drives consistent buyers and listing opportunities.
  • Represent the team professionally in all community interactions.

Professional Standards

  • Operate in alignment with best practices promoted by the National Association of Realtors.
  • Maintain ethical, transparent, and client‑first service always.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Confident, personable, and relationship‑driven.
  • Strong sales mindset with a consultative approach.
  • Excellent communicator (in person, phone, and written).
  • Comfortable discussing finances and guiding buyers through big decisions.
  • Organized, responsive, and detail‑oriented; manage workload in CRM.
  • Self‑motivated with high follow‑through.
  • Community‑minded networker.
  • Calm, professional presence in negotiations.

KEY SKILLS & TRAITS:

  • Ohio Real Estate license.
  • CRM experience highly preferred.
  • Inside/Outbound call experience.
  • Experience with the Multiple Listing Service.
  • Willingness to learn new tools, systems, and technologies.
  • People‑oriented, positive, and customer‑focused attitude.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
  • Able to work nights and weekends.
