Location: Germany

To support our expanding operations in the EU DIY market, we are seeking a strategic and results‑driven DIY Key Account Manager to manage and nurture relationships with headquarters‑level clients (e.g., OBI, Bauhaus, and other DIY/CE chains). This role is pivotal in securing national/multi‑store orders and driving long‑term business growth.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain relationships with headquarters‑level clients across Europe.
  • Lead negotiations on contract terms, pricing, profitability, category entry, and shelf placement.
  • Develop and execute promotional strategies aligned with client objectives.
  • Secure framework agreements or large‑scale orders by engaging with high‑level decision‑makers at client headquarters.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Product Management, Logistics) to ensure alignment with client needs.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and provide strategic insights.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, performance analyses, and business proposals.
Profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in key account management, sales, or business development, preferably in the DIY/retail/consumer goods sector.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to drive high‑level partnerships.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint); experience with CRM tools is a plus.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional European languages (e.g., German, French, Spanish) are advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and business trips.
