VP of Sales

We’re seeking a high‑performing Account Executive to drive new business revenue and expand our presence in the B2B cybersecurity market. This role is ideal for a consultative seller who understands complex sales cycles, thrives in a technical environment, and can build trusted relationships with security, IT, and executive stakeholders.

You will own the full sales cycle – from prospecting to close – working closely with Sales Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, and Leadership to exceed revenue targets.

Responsibilities
  • Own and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through close
  • Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities within mid‑market and enterprise accounts
  • Engage CISOs, IT leaders, and executive stakeholders with a consultative, value‑based sales approach
  • Conduct discovery calls to uncover security pain points and align solutions to customer needs
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations in partnership with Sales Engineering
  • Navigate complex buying committees and multi‑threaded sales processes
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline in our Salesforce CRM
  • Accurately forecast revenue and achieve/exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas
  • Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns and outbound strategies
  • Maintain deep knowledge of cybersecurity trends, competitive landscape, and industry regulations
Your Skills
  • 3–7+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota
  • Experience selling into IT, security, or technical buyers
  • Strong understanding of consultative and value‑based selling methodologies
  • Experience managing complex, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in German and English; another EU language would be a plus
  • Experience selling cybersecurity solutions (esp. network security, cloud security, web application security)
  • Familiarity with frameworks and regulations such as NIS2, SOC 2, ISO 27001, or C5
  • Experience in high‑growth startup environments
  • MEDDPICC or similar sales methodology experience
What Success Looks Like
  • Consistently achieves or exceeds revenue targets
  • Builds a healthy pipeline (3–5x quota coverage)
  • Develops trusted advisor relationships with security leaders
  • Effectively partners cross‑functionally to close complex deals
  • Contributes to team culture and best practice sharing
