Detroves Travels is an award-nominated Destination Management Company (DMC) specializing in tailor-made inbound travel experiences across Sri Lanka, the Maldives, Dubai, and Oman. With over a decade of excellence in tourism, we collaborate with leading European tour operators and travel agencies to design unforgettable journeys for clients seeking authentic, multi-destination experiences.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a part-time Sales Representative based in Germanyto support our business development and marketing efforts across the DACH region. The ideal candidate will help identify and establish partnerships with travel agencies, tour operators, and other potential business partners, promoting Detroves Travels’ portfolio across our four core destinations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, and B2B partners in Germany.
  • Promote Detroves Travels’ products for Sri Lanka, the Maldives, Dubai and Oman.
  • Identify new business opportunities and convert leads into partnerships and bookings.
  • Represent Detroves Travels at trade shows, networking events, and industry meetings (as applicable).
  • Conduct follow-ups, virtual meetings, and sales calls with prospective partners.
  • Participate in internal coordination meetings with the Detroves head office team.
  • Provide market insights, competitor updates, and feedback to support business strategy.

Compensation:

  • Hourly Rate: €15/hour (up to 10 hours per month)
  • Commission: 10% of net profit from each new client introduced by the Sales Representative
  • Commissions are payable 45 days after client departure, subject to receipt of payment from the client

Requirements:

  • Currently residing in Germany and authorized to work in Germany.
  • Fluent in German and English(spoken and written).
  • Prior experience in sales, travel, or hospitalitypreferred.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proactive, organized, and able to work independently with remote coordination.
  • Basic understanding of B2B travel operations and destination sales.
