Position: Sales Manager – Bank Partnerships (DACH)
Location: Germany

We are expanding across Europe and are looking to hire a Sales Manager with strong knowledge of their local banking market, a solid industry network, and a proven ability to generate new business. Your focus will be on building Gimi’s presence in key regions such as CEE, DACH, Iberia, the UK, and beyond.

This is a unique opportunity where, looking back, you will proudly be able to say that you opened an entirely new market for Gimi – with full support from the team, but as the key driver of the expansion.

Your Responsibilities
  • Open new markets, lead the way in building Gimi’s presence in your country/region
  • Prospecting & lead generation. Identify and engage banking partners through networking, referrals and proactive outreach
  • Relationship management:
Develop strong partnerships with new and existing clients, understanding needs and solving pain points
  • Sales cycle ownership:
Drive the process from first contact to closing, supported by our negotiation team
  • Stay on top of trends, competitors and customer needs in your local banking industry
  • Represent Gimi at events and conferences, strengthening our presence in your region
  • Share learnings and support colleagues across markets to accelerate growth
What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years’ sales experience with banks/enterprise accounts in fintech, payments or financial services
  • Strong network in the banking sector in either Poland, Germany, Southern Europe or France
  • Fluent in English and your local market language (Polish, German, French, Spanish, Italian, or Portuguese)
  • Track record of building long-term, high-value partnerships
  • Comfortable with travel and hybrid sales (mix of in-person and virtual)
  • Self-driven, resilient and motivated to succeed in long, complex sales cycles
Why Join Gimi?

At Gimi, we are on a mission to equip the next generation with Financial Superskills®. You’ll join a close-knit startup team where you’ll directly shape the future of our product and revolutionize how banks engage with young people.

We offer benefits that match or exceed startup standards (yes, including pension, education budget, and 30 vacation days annually). And you’ll enjoy our cozy office at Nytorget in Stockholm.

Sounds interesting?

If you’re excited to help shape the future of financial literacy and think you have what it takes to build and grow impactful partnerships, we’d love to hear from you! Interviews will be held on a rolling basis. Don’t wait to submit your application!
