Position OverviewWith our global footprint expanding we are seeking a worldclass dynamic and results-driven Sales Engineer to support and expand our business in the D-A-CH markets. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strong commercial acumen to provide outstanding support to customers, partners, and distributors across the D-A-CH region.
Key Responsibilities- Sales & Business Development – lead end to end
- Identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth for Terra Roc products across D-A-CH region
- Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts, distributors, and industry stakeholders
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, demos, and proposals tailored to customer needs
- Support the full sales cycle from lead generation to post-sale support
- Act as the technical liaison between customers and internal teams
- Provide product training and support on-site and remotely
- Recommend suitable drilling solutions based on customer applications and challenges
- Collect customer feedback to inform product development and improvements
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs in the region
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and customer interactions using CRM systems
- Participate in industry trade shows, conferences, and Terra Roc promotional events
- Experience Mining, Mechanical, Geotechnical, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in technical sales or engineering roles within the mining, construction, or drilling sectors
- Strong understanding of drilling tools, equipment, and ground engineering applications
- Proven experience working in the European market; existing network in the region is a plus
- Bilingual in German and English or German with good knowledge in English
- Willingness to travel extensively across the region (up to 50% of the time)
- Self‑motivated, proactive, and customer‑focused with excellent communication skills
