Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced T&D Business Development Manager to lead CHINT’s business development and sales initiatives within Germany’s electrical energy and power sectors.
This role focuses on expanding CHINT’s market presence, strengthening partnerships, and promoting our complete range of Transmission & Distribution (T&D) and renewable energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute strategic sales and business development plans to increase CHINT’s market share in Germany.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with EPC contractors, renewable energy developers, and investment companies
. - Promote CHINT’s full T&D portfolio, including power transformers (110 kV and above) and energy storage solutions.
- Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities through early project engagement and technical consultation.
- Lead the complete sales process — from opportunity identification to tendering, negotiation, and contract closure.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and international teams to deliver customized solutions that meet client requirements.
- Represent CHINT as a trusted partner and thought leader in the German power industry.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or engineering within the power transmission, renewable energy, or transformer industries.
- Proven success in winning major projects and developing long-term client relationships.
- Strong existing network within the German T&D or renewable energy market.
- Solid technical understanding of power systems and transformers (≥110 kV).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Professional fluency in German and English (written and spoken).
- High level of initiative, professionalism, and strategic thinking.
