Meat Cutter/Manager
- Full Time Major Responsibilities

• Wait on customers in a prompt, courteous, accurate, and efficient manner, maintaining good customer relations.
• Prepare, handle, stock, and/or store all fresh meat products received.
• Rotate all meat products on a first in/first out basis.
• Ensure all meat products are stored in proper refrigeration.
• Stock and service pre‑packed meat and service meat cases with product within guidelines established by the manager.
• Prepare special order requests.
• Follow both store and company health and sanitation standards.
• Observe regular cleaning schedule for equipment and cases.
• Perform price changes as requested.
• Be fully familiar with weights and measures standards and proper use of containers and packaging materials.
• Perform freshness checks and recondition product.
• Maintain courteous and friendly customer relations.

• Operate slicers, scales, mechanical price marking devices, and use knives and safety cutters.
• Perform sweeping, cleaning, and mopping functions.
• Operate telephones and intercoms and practice proper telephone etiquette.
• Follow all company policies as outlined in the employee handbook.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Self‑starter.
• Can read and write.
• Can add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
• Can give and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Can provide verbal and physical assistance to customers.
• Can lift and stack up to 100 pounds.
• Can pull or push wheeled vehicles weighing up to 1,000 pounds.
• Possesses good interpersonal skills, is mature, and a proven leader.
• Can reach and stock product up to 6 ft. high.

• Prior meat cutter experience preferred.
