Job Description

Create outstanding customer experience via exceptional service. Maintain a safe, clean environment to encourage return. Assist manager in meeting sales and profit goals and monitor quality standards.

Responsibilities include:

promoting trust among associates; creating a welcoming environment and answering product questions; maintaining product knowledge and making suggestions; recommending grocery items and specials; checking product quality; labeling, stocking and inventorying merchandise; reporting ordering discrepancies; displaying a positive attitude; staying current with ads; adhering to food‑safety regulations and maintaining proper temperatures; reinforcing safety procedures; performing preventive maintenance; notifying management of accidents; reporting safety risks and illegal activity;

performing essential job functions with or without accommodation.

Minimum: handle stressful situations; basic math skills; effective communication. Desired: retail experience; second language speaking, reading, or writing.
