Job Summary The Produce Apprentice reports directly to the store manager and indirectly to the assistant store managers and shift leaders. This position can be responsible for duties such as cashiering, stocking, cleaning, and monitoring the produce department. The produce clerk provides excellent customer service and maintain an excellent produce display.

• Consistently meets or exceeds set standards involving the handling, stocking, and the maintaining of all produce products
• Stocks product on platforms, shelving, peg hooks and in baskets or refrigerated cases as needed
• Handles power and non-powered equipment and hand tools to move stock as needed after properly trained
• To get extra hours, would need to assist in the meat department, stocking, and/or cashiering.

• Must be 18 years of age
• A High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to regularly lift 80lbs
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
