Research And Development Specialist (Project-Based Collaboration)
About This RoleWe’re hiring PhD-level professionals in science and engineering disciplines to join our client’s research initiatives on a part-time or consulting basis. This remote role offers the freedom to engage with impactful projects while balancing your existing commitments, with compensation scaled to your expertise.
What We Are Looking ForKey Responsibilities
- Drive R&D projects across priority areas:
Biomedical Science, Physics, AI, Computer Science, Chemistry, Materials Science, Imaging, New Energy Batteries, Autonomous Driving, Industrial Software, Drones, Automation, Rail Transit, Geographic Information Surveying, Mechanical Manufacturing. - Deliver technical insights, experimental design, and problem-solving to advance project milestones.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (remotely) to align research with commercial applications.
- Contribute to patentable innovations and technology transfer strategies.
- PhD in a Science/Engineering discipline (specializations matching the above fields).
- ≥3 years of post-PhD experience in your field (industry, academia, or R&D institutions).
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage project timelines.
- Expertise in at least one core technology area (e.g., AI algorithms, Battery R&D, Autonomous Systems).
