iBET, has an open position for a research fellowship in the field of Plant Biotechnology available within the project “Optimizing Plant Performance under Climate Change Scenarios “, , financed by iBETXplore.
Admission Requirements– Bachelor’s and Master´s degree in Biochemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or related areas, with a minimum grade of 16 (out of 20) and 18 (out of 20), respectively;
– Laboratory experience in plant molecular biology, including model cereals (Oryza sativa);
– Experience in transforming rice plants and their molecular and physiological characterisation;
– Experience in photobiology;
– Knowledge of RNA-seq data analysis;
– Availability to spend time in a photobiology lab in Germany;
– Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills;
– Excellent English knowledge;
Contract Duration & CategoryThe fellowship will have a duration of 3 months, eventually renewed until the end of project, without prejudice of the maximum limits foreseen by law. The expected starting date is 1 of April of 2025.
