We are looking for a small animal veterinary dentist to join the Northern Finland Veterinary Hospital for a full‑time or part‑time, permanent employment position. Ideal candidate has expertise to perform dental treatments and teeth extractions for small animals.
Northern Finland Animal Hospital is a modern, fully equipped small animal hospital in Oulu, Finland. We serve patients especially in Northern Finland, but referral patients come from all over Finland. We are a 24/7 emergency hospital.
We offer comprehensive services from preventive health care to first aid, demanding surgeries and rehabilitation. Our services include internal medicine, dermatology, soft tissue surgeries, endoscopic surgeries, emergency and critical care, dental care, ultrasound examinations, laboratory services, radiography and CT imaging among others. Our dental room is equipped with dental stations, two dental X‑ray units, dental drilling units and inhalation anesthesia.

We are looking for an experienced small animal dentist to join our team and help strengthen and further develop our dental expertise. The ideal candidate has expertise in dental treatments and teeth extractions, values teamwork, training, continuous development and communicates fluently in English. We expect a team‑oriented and positive approach to your work, as well as good interpersonal skills. Experience in treating more complex oral and dental diseases is considered an advantage.
This role requires authorization to practice veterinary medicine in Finland. Remote work is not possible.
