DaVita is hiring a Float Dialysis Nurse (RN) to provide life‑based care out of our Navarre Dialysis in Navarre, OH. This position will float to clinics within the Greater Canton, Ohio region.

• At least 1 year of clinical experience as a RN
• Schedule:
  
  Hours will vary depending on clinic but can start as early as 4 a.m.
• Shift differential for travel, paid mileage
• Compensation increases with training levels and additional responsibilities
• Team player: adaptable, ready to travel/float within region, strong leadership, time management, willingness to give and receive redirection, effective communication, critical thinking

• 30%:
  Supervises and performs direct patient care including vital signs, dialysis initiation/termination, documentation, physical assessment, transcription of physician orders, and laboratory work.
• 20%:
  Provides dialysis therapy per physician orders, weight and ultrafiltration rate, safety measures, medications, and documentation.
• 20%:
  Analyzes assessments, labs; flags concerns to physician; documents observations; communicates emergencies to supervisor, Medical Director, etc.
• 15%:
  Assesses patient/family learning; provides education on renal disease and dialysis; participates in care plan development and monthly progress notes.
