Job SummaryJoin our dedicated Obstetrics team at Fulton County Health Center as an OB Registered Nurse. This position offers the opportunity to provide exceptional nursing care for obstetric patients in accordance with hospital standards and policies.
The OB RN will coordinate and evaluate nursing care for acute care patients, perform a variety of professional nursing duties, and contribute to a collaborative healthcare environment. This role requires strong judgment, supervisory ability, and a commitment to continuous growth and professional development.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized and comprehensive nursing care in the Obstetrics unit.
- Maintain accountability for nursing care and delegate tasks as appropriate.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Address patient and family education and discharge planning needs.
- Uphold ethical and legal standards in all aspects of care.
- Remain flexible and adapt to staffing changes dictated by patient care requirements.

Requirements- Current RN license from the State of Ohio Board of Nursing.
- BLS and NRP certifications (must maintain current certifications).
- Minimum of 24 hours of Continuing Education (CNE) credits every two years, corresponding to license renewal.
- Strong clinical knowledge and independent judgment.
- High degree of interpersonal skills for effective communication.
- Ability to provide nursing care based on biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences.
- Previous OB nursing experience preferred.
