Serenity Behavioral Health Services is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in providing specialized care to patients with mental health disorders. Job Type: Full-time or Part-time

Qualifications:
  • Valid Ohio nursing license
  • MSN degree with ANCC certification
  • Proven experience working as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
  • Strong knowledge of psychiatric medications, treatments, and interventions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to provide compassionate care to individuals with mental health disorders
  • Proficiency in conducting physical examinations and assessing vital signs
  • Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and diagnostic procedures
  • Understanding of physiological processes related to mental health conditions
Duties:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments to evaluate patients' mental health status and identify risk factors
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patients' needs and treatment goals
  • Administer medications and monitor their effectiveness and potential side effects
  • Provide therapeutic interventions and counseling to patients, both individually and in group settings
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care
  • Monitor patients for any changes in behavior or symptoms, and adjust treatment plans accordingly
    Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies
    Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
