Part-Time Scheduling Options
This part-time role provides scheduling flexibility:
* Days:
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
* Shift Window:
All shifts must fall between 5:00 AM and 5:00 PM
* Flexibility:
Choose your preferred daily shift length: 4, 6, or 8 hours
Tell us your preferred shift length when you apply, and we'll work to fit your hours within our weekend operating window!
Starting hiring rate: $18/hr
► Key Areas of Responsibility
* Machine Ownership & Performance:
You will set up and operate label machines with precision, ensuring all production deadlines are met according to the daily schedule.
* Technical Troubleshooting:
Beyond basic operation, you will use your mechanical skills to analyze equipment performance, identifying and resolving minor technical issues to maintain momentum.
* Quality Accountability:
You will maintain a "zero-defect" mindset. This includes keeping accurate logs of raw materials, identifying quality control issues early, and ensuring a First-In-First-Out (FIFO) inventory flow.
* Systems Management:
You will utilize our ERP system to log time and materials for every job, ensuring data integrity and operational transparency.
* Tooling Maintenance:
You are responsible for the care and maintenance of all dies, ensuring they are ready for high-performance output.
* Operational Safety:
You will champion a safe and organized work environment by following all PPE requirements and safety protocols, treating your workspace with a high degree of professional pride.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
To be successful in this role, you will need to comfortably perform the following physical activities as part of your daily production routine:
* Active Presence:
You will be on your feet for the majority of your shift (up to 100% of the time) as you manage your machine station.
* Dexterity & Coordination:
You will frequently use your hands and arms to handle materials, feel for quality textures, and reach components to ensure smooth machine operation.
* Strength:
You should be capable of independently lifting and moving materials weighing up to 50 lbs throughout your shift.
* Visual Precision:
High-quality labeling requires sharp, close-range vision (within 20 inches) and the ability to accurately distinguish between different colors and shades.
* Experience:
1-2 years of related experience operating production machinery.
* Education:
High School Diploma or GED.
* Skills:
Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read precise measurements.
* Physical:
Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and distinguish colors for quality checks.
