Job Description:

Scope:

* The Final Inspector is responsible for inspecting printed circuit boards (PCBs) for flaws that may have been manufactured into the product during processing using magnifying equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Perform all types of visual inspection related to PCBs using magnification equipment

* Read and interpret customer drawings

* Identify and segregate non-conforming product

* Perform minor rework and repairs to identified defects

* Preform final count of acceptable and rejected boards

* Compare shop traveler quantity to final count and notify supervisor of discrepancies

* Complete reject report, sign traveler, and input data into final log

* Obtain final documentation package and move to the shipping department

* Using calipers, pin gauges and micrometers

* Maintain a high attention to detail

* Follow all departmental process procedures correctly

* Complete all departmental documentation accurately

* Complete quality checks when product arrives in and exits the department

* Perform other tasks as assigned by management and cross-train as needed to assist production

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

* Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively

* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted

* Ability to stand for the duration of shift

* Ability to read and understand blueprints, customer specifications, and procedures

* Basic math, problem solving, interpersonal skills, and computer skills

* Must possess interpersonal, problem solving, and communication skills

* Follow all safety measures

Education and Experience:

* High School diploma or equivalent

* Previous manufacturing experience preferred

* Previous PCB experience preferred

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that my be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.

c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
