Material Handler in Huron, OHStarting pay: $18.48 and up to $26.03 per hour, plus $1.00 shift differential
Shift (3rd shift): Sunday
- Wednesday, 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM, overtime as needed.
A Material Handler at The Pittsburgh Paints Company receives, ships and handles raw materials, packaging and finished goods as it enters or leaves the site. Key Responsibilities May Include- Following all safety rules, processes and procedures.
- Receiving and handling raw materials needed for production.
- Loading and unloading trailers, following dock safety procedures.
- Operating robotic palletizers, stretch wrappers, conveyors.
- Maintaining clean and orderly work areas.
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Stand for extended periods of time, maneuvering around equipment.
- Lift up to 50 pounds routinely and up to 80 pounds infrequently.
- Follow detailed instructions and record progress.
- Operate material handling equipment, hoists and other equipment.
- Work in a team environment and take ownership over assigned area of responsibility.
