Glen-Gery, one of the nation’s leading brick manufacturers, has a new career opportunity available for an experienced and motivated Industrial Electrician to join our manufacturing plant in Iberia, OH.

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and parts, such as motors, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Adept at installing, repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining PLC and/or computer-controlled production equipment and controls, including Modicon and Allen Bradley equipment.

• Read prints, diagrams, schematics, programs, and operating instructions; maintain a record of dependability and outstanding job attendance.
• Assist in maintaining preventive maintenance schedules for all electronics and equipment.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on a wide variety of industrial equipment including hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyors.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and install electrical equipment.
• Provide technical assistance on the design, repair, or improvement of equipment.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as an Electrician within a manufacturing environment.
• An Associate degree in Electrical Technology and/or graduation from an acceptable technical training institution in an electrical or electronic systems program is preferred.
• Proven experience with PLC (Allen Bradley) and/or computer-controlled production equipment is essential.
• Must be able to read and understand complex program and equipment manuals with a high degree of comprehension and accuracy.
• Experience in AC/DC motor control.
