Upholster the inside and outside sections of chairs and sofas using fabric and leather materials.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Apply upholstery covers to frames accurately and in accordance with quality standards.
- Perform basic repair work on upholstered furniture as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and support overall production flow.
- Use standard upholstery tools and equipment safely and correctly.
- Complete other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Heated and cooled furniture manufacturing plant with concrete floors.

QUALIFICATIONS MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSSome manufacturing experience.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSExperience in furniture manufacturing.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSLess than High School.
PREFERRED EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSHigh School Diploma or Equivalent.
REQUIRED SKILLS- Ability to learn and follow upholstery procedures.
- Transport and lift frames (up to 50 lbs) to/from work area.
- Read and interpret order tickets.
- Use tools such as staple guns, pullers, scissors, and regulators.
- Work safely, efficiently, and neatly to meet production goals.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Detail-oriented with a positive attitude.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Stand and walk for 8+ hours daily.
- Available for weekends and overtime.
- Consistently reliable and punctual.
- Wear required PPE (e.g., safety glasses, closed-toe/heel shoes).
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
