Job Summary: Logistics Associates are responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving, putaway, repacking, picking and shipping inventory according to purchase orders and shipping schedules. Specific duties may vary by location.

Associate Positions:

• Receiving:
  Receive all purchased materials, follow instructions and receiving procedures
• Putaway:
  To put away product accurately, efficiently and ensure inventory accuracy
• Inbound Repack:
  Repacking/relabeling products to customer requirements
• Picker:
  To pick product accurately, efficiently and ensure inventory accuracy
• Outbound Repack:
  Repacking/ relabeling products to customer requirements
• Shipping:
  Prepare shipments based on written work instructions and procedures developed to meet specific requirements
• Returnables:
  Manage the flow, storage and distribution of returnable containers between the warehouse, vendors, the customer and production units.

Essential Functions:

• Effectively communicate inventory discrepancies to the appropriate member(s) of the leadership team
• Maintenance of inventory locations
• Ability to follow documented work instructions and one-point lessons
• Follow all safety guidelines and expectations
• Ability to lift and move packages on a continuous basis
• Assist in inventory processes including, but not limited to physical inventory
• Ability to identify packaging standards
• Assist with tasks as required by the other Logistics department
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Cross train with adjacent departments
• Assist with training as requested
• Assist with system and process enhancements
• Ability to provide excellent cleanliness and organization (5S)
• Other tasks as assigned by management

Education:

• Must possess high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Skills/Experience/Requirements:

• Must be able to maintain excellent attendance
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Must be able to perform simple mathematical calculations
• Must be able to work and effectively communicate with Leadership, Supervision, Management, Coworkers, and Team.
• Work flexible hours and overtime as needed
• Forklift certified (Internal Training)
• Behave in a positive manner that enhances the success of the company
• Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds
