Position: Packaging Operator - $2,500 Sign on Bonus
Location: Lewisburg

Job Description
The Packaging Machine Operator is responsible and accountable for ensuring all finished product is packaged according to Q&FS specifications and QMP Standards in support of Mars Quality and Food Safety principles.

Compensation

New hires are eligible for a $2,500 Sign on Bonus for this position.

Requirements
  • Be 18 years of age or older.
  • Have a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
  • Good math, reading, and writing skills.
  • Knowledge of computers and equipment HMIs.
  • Ability to work in a self‑directed manner with a positive attitude.
  • Working knowledge of Safety, Quality, and Material Management Systems and procedures.
  • Working knowledge of food safety.
  • Effective problem‑solving, communication skills, and decision making.
Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to personal safety practices that meet OSHA & Mars standards and maintain open communication that ensures site safety policies.
  • Operate within specified efficiency/productivity standards based on formulation and packaging capability and within established finished product Q&FS specifications for each formula.
  • Perform quality checks and maintain accurate documentation as defined by the QMP and site requirements.
  • Perform packaging equipment adjustments and preventative maintenance activities as defined in Standard Operating Procedures to assure finished packages are in compliance with Q&FS specifications and QMP standards.
  • Perform AM responsibilities in the area, in line with Mars Supply Excellence.
  • Adhere to the master sanitation program.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of the area, to drive performance and plant Key Performance Indicators.
  • Participate and adhere to all food safety requirements, Quality Management Processes, and site safety programs ensuring that all standards are met.
  • Engage and demonstrate teamwork, in line with the site culture.
