2nd Shift Freezer Associate

Come join our GROWING team!! Velvet Ice Cream is now seeking a full‑time 2nd shift freezer associate at our facility in Utica, Ohio. Work hours are 4:00 pm to 12:00 am, Sunday through Thursday. The freezer associate’s role is to prepare product for shipment to customers, working specifically in the freezer warehouse. Will be cross‑trained across all freezer duties. The ideal candidate must be comfortable with a physically demanding position, which requires standing for the majority of the shift.

Subject to cold temperatures of less than 32 °F for more than one hour with proper protective equipment.

• Ability to lift and/or move 50 lbs. regularly.
• Ability to use electric power jack to move product.
• Must be a self‑starter who can manage themselves.
• Must be able to follow instructions.
• Must be punctual and meet attendance requirements.
• Consistently demonstrate safe work behaviors and actively support company safety goals.
• Must be able to work in cold temperatures.

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Ability to learn and understand data and its uses for assigned responsibility.
• Must be a results‑oriented professional with excellent verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as strong customer service skills.
• Related experience is preferred.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Must be available to work all shifts (including weekends and holidays, when necessary).
