Quality Control Inspector- Second Shift

Position: Quality Control Inspector

Location: Blacklick, Ohio

Department: Quality

Reports to: Quality Supervisor

Shifts: Second Shift: Monday – Friday, 1:30pm - 10:00pm

The Injection Quality Control Inspector is responsible for monitoring and documenting the dimensional and aesthetic quality (color, visual defects) of finished parts.

• Monitor and document the aesthetic quality (color, visual defects) of parts.
• Monitor the quantity of parts produced compared to production schedule.
• Accurately complete transactions of production totals in Syteline.
• Provide timely and complete communication to Line Operators, Crew Leader, Process Crew Leader and all other impacted operations and functional teams regarding quality issues and quantity shortages.
• Ensure proper packaging of each part per job card, including accurate number of parts per box, boxes per skid and proper packaging materials.
• Print all necessary production reports and job cards using Syte Line ERP system.
• Complete dimensional and visual data entry activities as needed.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Perform all other duties as needed.

• Ability to differentiate between colors and shades of color
• Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division are required
• Demonstrated understanding of quality control concepts and processes within a manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated history of excellent attendance and reliability
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work overtime as needed, sometimes on short notice
• Ability to successfully complete all required training
