Service Parts Material Coordinator

Position Summary

Service Parts Material Coordinator based in OH Facility supporting OH supplied customers. This role will be responsible for the coordination of customer requirements, inventory availability/control and processing of the service customers. This role will report to the Service Order Supervisor.

• Confirming Inventory / Tool status and availability for support of customer requirements, unload components from trailers as needed
• If materials need to be purchased communicate need to Service Order Supervisor
• Repack, if needed, all the finished parts received from a different HFI facility
• Physical transfer of material and tools to production to build requirements
• Properly use or wear the Personal Protective Equipment provided by the employer as required
• Physical verification/validation that the material is in usable condition for support customer requirement, work with Engineering and Quality Departments as needed
• Work with Engineering department to produce and pack the parts foamed in Ohio
• If there is scrap in the process, communicate to Service Order supervisor for inventory accuracy
• Print inventory and customer labels
• Prior to shipping to the customer, complete the Label Checklist form to validate label information is correct
• Coordinate staging and shipping of material for transfer to other facilities or customer
• After production is complete gather all the left-over materials, relabel boxes based on actual inventory and load materials back on trailers, keeping record of what we loaded, skid #, location and trailer that part was loaded on
• Maintain a record and keep track of all the tools in the service area
• Support Service Order Supervisor with materials disposition at HFI Ohio
• Support with disposition of extra tools
• Clean and organize the service materials in the trials area
• Support with organization and counts during physical inventories
• Report any accident/incident immediately to your supervisor
• Associates are responsible for their own personal safety and that of their fellow employees
• Ability to communicate internally within OH site, other HFI sites and with Service Order Supervisor
• Will review material marking, quality and condition of product which requires a skill for attention to detail. Will be required to provide recommendations on condition and options to improve.

• Prefer High School Diploma or GED
• Material handling and Inventory Control experience preferred
• Experience with manufacturing, preferably automotive
• Acquire and maintain a forklift license, previous experience preferred.
