Shift Manager - 3rd shift

Overview

Job Description: The Shift Manager leads through the Mars 5 Principles and the Associate Concept. They seek to build their team to be able to succeed autonomously. They own all plant operations on their designated shift to ensure performance in a 24 hr day factory.

• Bachelor's degree OR equivalent experience, greater than 4 years of experience in a technical manufacturing continuous improvement environment, along with a High School Diploma.

• 3+ years leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Degree in one of the Engineering, basic sciences, or business-related disciplines.

• 5+ years leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Part of a shift team of up to 15 associates contribute to achievement of targets.

• Accountable for the performance of several machines, processes, or pieces of equipment.

• Escalate issues as appropriate, give full and accurate verbal and written handover

• Repair mechanical breakdowns using trained knowledge and experience.
