Coffee Roaster and Production Associate

Overview

Silver Bridge Coffee Company is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Coffee Roasting & Production Associate. This role will be trained directly in coffee roasting, with production and packaging support as a secondary responsibility when not actively roasting. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in specialty coffee, hands-on production work, and learning the craft of roasting in a growing, woman-owned, family-operated company.

Position:
Full Time – Monday – Friday 8am to 4pm

• Primary Responsibilities:
  
  Coffee Roasting
  • Train under Lead Roaster to learn all aspects of coffee roasting
  • Assist with and eventually perform:
    Green coffee handling and weighing
  • Roasting according to established profiles
  • Monitoring roast development, time, and temperature
  • Logging roast data and maintaining consistency
  • Follow all quality control and food safety standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the roasting area
  • Assist with routine roaster maintenance and cleaning
• Secondary Responsibilities:
  Production & Packaging — When not roasting, this role will support daily production needs, including:
• Weighing, grinding, and packaging coffee (12oz and 5lb bags)
• Applying labels and packaging per company specifications
• Assisting with flavored coffee production following established recipes
• Preparing orders for wholesale, online, and farmers market fulfillment
• Helping maintain a clean, organized production facility

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
• Willingness to learn and take feedback
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential
• Prior coffee or food production experience is a plus, but not required
