Floor Supervisor, Manufacturing ​/ Production

Staffmark is seeking a Floor Supervisor to oversee daily production floor operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives on team development, quality control, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Pay & Schedule

• $78,000/year
• Monday - Friday | 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

What You'll Do

• Supervise and train employees within your designated area, monitoring performance and providing feedback to the General Manager
• Ensure daily production tasks are completed efficiently while maintaining adherence to company policies and procedures
• Maintain a safe work environment, address safety concerns, and ensure compliance with regulations
• Provide initial and ongoing training to help staff develop their skills
• Log daily production runs using written documentation, inspect and count parts, and sign off on quality checks
• Open and close the plant in the absence of the Maintenance Technician, assisting as needed
• Operate forklifts and demonstrate a basic understanding of mechanical components, electrical systems, and hydraulic/pneumatic machinery

Qualifications

• Prior direct supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Hands-on understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to operate related equipment
