Maintenance Mechanic Opportunity / $25-$30 Per Hour / Great Benefits and Growth Opportunity

A well-established plastics injection molding manufacturer in the Hartville, OH area is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join their 1st shift team. The individual will be responsible for keeping molding machines and plant equipment running efficiently while ensuring safe, consistent production. The ideal candidate brings a strong mix of mechanical, electrical, and injection molding maintenance experience.

Base pay range: $25.00/hr - $30.00/hr
Shift: 1st shift with overtime opportunities
Location: Hartville, OH

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on injection molding machines, auxiliary systems, and plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot 480V electrical systems, control panels, VFDs, sensors, and PLCs (Allen‑Bradley or Siemens preferred).
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems, pumps, valves, and cylinders.
• Assist with mold changeovers, machine setups, and adjustments.
• Support continuous improvement and downtime reduction initiatives.
• Maintain detailed maintenance records and adhere to all plant safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting (plastics industry required).
• Hands‑on experience with injection molding machinery (e.g., Engel, Milacron, Arburg, Husky, Nissei).
• Solid understanding of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, and mechanical drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and commitment to preventive maintenance.
