Manufacturing Engineer / Engineering Manager (Plastic Injection Molding) - Middlefield, Ohio - JOB 25-01617 Salary Range: $90k - $110k Permanent Position with Benefits A busy Chardon / Middlefield, Ohio area Manufacturing Firm seeks an experienced Manufacturing Engineer / Engineering Manager who is capable of providing leadership, improve product /production efficiencies, support manufacturing efforts, ensure safety and increase profits all the while meeting or exceeding the client specifications and expectations.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing and or Industrial Engineering with a minimum of (2) years of Management / Supervisory experience in an injection or blow molding manufacturing environment Candidates must have a strong plastic processing machinery, equipment and design background. Black Belt Certification is Preferred.

Experience with Lead Lean / Six Sigma and 5S manufacturing initiatives. Provide technical support for plastic injection mold processing and improvement. To improve cost, efficiency, quality, production and labor cost Candidates will make recommendations to both the sales staff and to the client. Plan out and monitor production process / layout to meet or exceed production requirements, cost effectiveness and improve safety.

Improve overall performance by measurable standards and lead in cost reduction efforts Participate in and support safety initiatives Responsible for the selection and acquisition of new plant machinery. Ensure high quality production parts through engineering best practices and the effective management of production associates and processes. Provide leadership, mentoring and overall management to engineering and production staff. Solid verbal and written communication and technical documentation skills.
