Group Leader - First Shift - PDL

The PDL Group Leader provides direction to wood assembly employees, ensuring that daily objectives are met. The Manufacturing Group Leader accomplishes these objectives through personal performance of tasks and duties and by directing and coordinating the activities of the people working in her/his department. Mastery of all aluminum full‑view functions and basic administrative work is required.

• Performs all job tasks and duties associated with the assigned department.
• Serves as liaison between the department and management.
• Uses good listening, verbal, interpersonal, and team‑building skills.
• Communicates information, instructions, and requests to management and employees clearly and concisely, both verbally and in written forms.
• Proficient in the use of PC’s, barcode scanners, and AS400 to enter, retrieve, and send required data and information.
• Ensures that all quality guidelines are followed.
• Mentors and trains employees.

• Can read and understand work instructions in English.
• At least 24 months loading experience and 12+ months aluminum full‑view experience.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
• Frequent bending, pushing/pulling, reaching, and lifting periodically up to 75 pounds.
• Regularly lifts up to 35 pounds.
• Powered industrial truck certification may be required.

• Preferred High School Diploma or GED.

New Philadelphia, OH – Salary: $26.23-$29.77 per hour.
