Manufacturing Engineer

• Define production process parameters to ensure products meet customer specifications.
• Create documentation for production support and data collection.
• Part of a team that approves new product designs for production.
• Assess and approve new product tooling for production.
• Review and authorize new product processes for production.
• Initiate and maintain an “open items” tracking system for new products.
• Attend tooling tryouts at tooling vendors.
• Coordinate tooling tryouts at the manufacturing facility.
• Participate in obtaining PSW approvals on new products.
• Continuously improve processes utilizing synchronous and lean manufacturing techniques to improve labor efficiencies and quality.
• Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, AutoCAD).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Demonstrate an objective, fair and professional attitude and maintain a positive and productive workplace.
• Exhibit teamwork and actively participate in team projects and activities in a positive working environment.
• Demonstrate problem solving skills in the workplace and continually strive for continuous improvement.

• A Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a closely related discipline.
• Minimum of three (3) years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably automotive).
